Milan Central Train Station: The dwelling of a thousand stories, the reflection of our own story.

I love border places, those where presence and absence blend together, those where enduring traces of passage nurture the call to history recreation.

Those places where gestures don’t own a sole meaning, as they dress up in a thousand emotions.

I love to hold that emotion in a photograph – my emotion – within all the endless possible ones, giving a sense to something that was there just waiting to be perceived.

Train stations fascinate me, as they are familiar places of a lifetime, dense with reminiscences and hopes: in these photographs, fragments of me, of my story, relived in others.
